If you want to do this it'd probably still be helpful but it's no longer neccessary.

Homework help - please take this survey for my research:
I need to know you, as the consumer, preferences and what you think of the two brands I am about to talk about.

Please copy and paste this into a comment and answer:
You would be very helpful to refer any of your friends to come here and take the survey as well. Thanks!

2. How do you feel about Beck's advertising? Do you enjoy it? Does it offend you?

I thought the commercial with the statistics was clever. There is precious little that offends me, but I did respond better to the Beck's ads than the Heineken ones.

4. How do you feel Beck's and Heineken are different?

I haven't tried the beer, but judging by the way they're marketed in these ads, Heineken seems to targeting customers who want to impress others with what they're drinking, whereas Beck's seems to be targeting customers who actually want to enjoy beer. I got the impression that Heineken's ads were all about partying all day and night, but Beck's ads were aimed at real people who work all day and like to relax at night.

There's not a lot of diversity in the ads; mostly just mid-20s urban professional white guys with dark hair going to parties with similarly-described women. The ads explicitly target men and not women.

I think the newest commercials with the robots are stupid, the older ones were funnier.

4. How do you feel Beck's and Heineken are different?
The coloring of their bottles is the same so they don't , so they don't seem to want to stand out from each other.

2. How do you feel about Heineken's advertising? Do you enjoy it? Does it offend you?
My response to the Heineken ads that were pointed out to me were mostly negative. The robot commercials came off as trying too hard to be modern and cool by cashing in on the upsurge of interest in science fiction themes that are en vogue in pop culture right now.
They don't offend me on any level that isn't related to the fact that I don't enjoy being advertised to, however.

2. How do you feel about Beck's advertising? Do you enjoy it? Does it offend you?
Beck's ads seemed more expensive, even though they probably weren't. They seemed to encourage the customers to believe that drinking Becks would include you in some sort of elite beer drinking group, which also rubs me the wrong way. I'm only offended in the sense that Becks expects people to fall for it.

3.Please give your:
Gender: Male
Age: 21

4. How do you feel Beck's and Heineken are different?

I don't feel that they're any different except that becks hasn't yet had the opportunity to supplant Heineken as the beer of choice for people that want to drink a cheap beer but are embarrassed by the image of classlessness associated with brands like Budweiser or Coors.

2. How do you feel about Heineken's advertising? Do you enjoy it? Does it offend you?
It speaks to young males and some females, between 21-35 and I think their advertising plays into the general interests of people in that demographic with images of trendy people having a good time in a place that is not a dive bar, nor a high class place listening to Euro dance music.

2. How do you feel about Beck's advertising? Do you enjoy it? Does it offend you?
For the most part I feel Beck's is pretty much the same as Heineken in that they both cater to the yuppie male 21-35 demographic, although Becks seems to sell itself as a little more high class beer conosoury. The commercial where it seems like they were advertising a car but really it was a beer, is suggesting that the young men starting their life who are looking for things to buy with their money, such as cars, should buy Becks. The Becks light commercial I thought was sexist number one: for showing sexy women dancing for the majority of the piece and number two: further perpetuating the sexist ideal that all women should be slim and slender. They can get that way / stay that way and still be able to party by drinking Becks.

4. How do you feel Beck's and Heineken are different?
The only way I can see them being different as I stated earlier is that Beck's portrays itself as the more "responsible" of the two. I guess by that I mean their ads had a guy working (but still kinda goofing off and checking out women) and one that imitated a car commercial, something only a "responsible" person with money would be interested in watching. Heineken's ads had the same yuppie people but they just came off more as a "woo party" beer for people that graduated college, got a little older and became too good for PBR.

it's ok - I pretty much needed it last minute. So I knew a lot of people weren't going to take it.
It still might be beneficial to get some more - but it's no longer necessary.
